Instrument panel construction
Here are photos of the instrument panel installed. I took the original, ground off the original detail and created a lightbox to install the LEDs in. The holes are for sending light to some fiber optics I have not yet installed. I also extended the small side panels to go all the way to the cockpit walls, giving more room for dials and a screen.

Stabilizer mods
Here I have seperated the stabilizer from its mount and made it so it can flip up. My idea is that the ship is in the shop getting some work done on the right forward grav engine. So I wanted to be able to flip the stabilizer to a standing position while it was in the shop.
Engine closeup
Here is a vent I originally added to the bottom but it was a little to small to vent the airflow from the fan. So I added a vent to the top of the engine (seen in the First Photos entry).
Cockpit detail
Ok... I spent a fair amount of time on the cockpit. The fire extinguisher is scratch from 9 peices. I still have a few things to do (like adding some fiber optics) before finishing the weathering and dull coating it. Also still working on the side walls.
First photos
Here you can see a few mods. The Chaff launcher near the cockpit. The rear navigation lights (one visible on left engine cowling). The engine has been cleaned of all molded detail and I am recreating it (the large white strip is a vent for the fan I am installing in the rear of the engine assembly to remove any excess heat from the LEDs being used on the interior of the ship). Also it creates a noise effect for the engine. The fan and engine LEDs can be turned on/off with the DIP switch on the left side of the engine.
Also I have re-scribed the all the panel lines (my first ever attempt at scribing) and drilled the rivet holes.
More to come... Kevin
